Our History
Established in 1962, Government Higher Secondary School, M.G.R. Nagar, Chennai has been a beacon of knowledge and opportunity for generations. What started as a small primary school with just a few classrooms has blossomed into one of the premier educational institutions in the district, serving thousands of eager learners.
Over the past six decades, we have consistently upgraded our infrastructure and teaching methodologies. We take pride in our strong alumni network, many of whom have gone on to serve the nation in various capacities, from civil services to medicine and engineering.
